These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Industrial Error Decoder platform (“Service”) operated by Xania Electronics (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
The Industrial Error Decoder is a diagnostic assistance tool that analyzes industrial equipment error codes and provides technical interpretations, probable causes, and recommended resolution steps. The Service queries multiple independent diagnostic engines and presents their analyses to you.
Important: The Service provides diagnostic guidance — not certified engineering advice. All diagnostic results must be verified against the specific equipment’s official service documentation before performing any maintenance, repair, or modification. Xania Electronics is not responsible for actions taken based on diagnostic results.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service
- One account per person — account sharing is not permitted on individual plans
- You agree to provide accurate and current information
3. Subscription Plans and Payments
Free Preview
Unregistered visitors and non-subscribed users may receive a limited number of free diagnostic lookups per day (as configured by the platform). These previews are provided at our discretion and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
Paid Plans
- Subscription plans are billed monthly or annually as indicated at the time of purchase
- Each plan includes a defined number of monthly diagnostic searches (quota), visible in the decoder interface
- Search quotas reset on the 1st of each calendar month
- Unused searches do not roll over to subsequent months
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe and/or PayPal
Free Trial
Some plans include a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged.
Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
- Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for the current billing period if requested within 7 days of charge
- We reserve the right to refuse refunds for accounts that have consumed a significant portion of their monthly search quota
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to query the Service
- Circumvent search quotas, rate limits, or access controls
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially sublicense diagnostic results to third parties
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate the diagnostic engine prompts or algorithms
- Submit intentionally malformed, abusive, or excessively repetitive queries designed to disrupt the Service
- Share your account credentials with others (for individual plans)
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
5. Diagnostic Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL AND DIAGNOSTIC ASSISTANCE PURPOSES ONLY.
- Diagnostic results are generated by automated systems and may contain inaccuracies, especially for ambiguous error codes or equipment not explicitly supported
- Results should always be verified against the manufacturer’s official service documentation for the specific equipment model and firmware version
- The Service does not replace qualified engineering judgment, manufacturer technical support, or on-site safety assessment
- You are solely responsible for ensuring all safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, voltage verification) are followed before performing any work on industrial equipment
- Xania Electronics is not liable for personal injury, equipment damage, production loss, or any other damages resulting from actions taken based on diagnostic results provided by the Service
6. Intellectual Property
- The Service, its design, code, and diagnostic methodologies are the intellectual property of Xania Electronics
- Diagnostic results generated for your queries may be used by you for internal maintenance purposes
- You may not republish, systematically copy, or create derivative databases from the Service’s diagnostic outputs
- Cached diagnostic data in our database remains the property of Xania Electronics
7. Service Availability
- We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability
- The Service depends on third-party API providers — outages at those providers may temporarily affect diagnostic capabilities
- We reserve the right to perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, XANIA ELECTRONICS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, PRODUCTION TIME, OR EQUIPMENT VALUE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the courts of Brussels, Belgium.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
